Your rocker glider has a guarantee on the frame for nine months from purchase date.

Assembly

Your rocker glider comes flat packed in a box which makes for easy delivery. Chairs can be delivered throughout South Africa for the clients' account. The assembly of your chair is relatively simple as the base of the chair and the ottoman do not need to be assembled. Please follow the instructions in your box to assemble the chair.

Repairs

Your Rocker Glider chair is a durable chair that needs to be handled with care and respect. Due to the fact your chair has moveable parts there will always be parts that may break and need repairing. All frames are guaranteed for nine months and Baby Direct will repair all chairs within the guarantee period. Chairs that are not in the guarantee period will be repaired at a cost of R500.00.

Maintenance

The Frame
Please note that your Rocker Glider chair works on a bearings system. These bearings need to be kept oiled on a regular basis. The manufacturers recommend that the bearings are oiled every three months.

Oiling the bearings
Use a 3in1 oil and oil approximately every 3 months. Turn the chair on its side and place the oil into the join between the bearings. This should protect your bearings which will then last a life time. It is important to remember to oil the bearings of the ottoman.

The Cushions
Your cushions are made of the finest suede fabric which is very durable. To clean your cushions of everyday marks lightly rub the mark with white vinegar. (White vinegar evaporates and therefore does not leave a mark.) It is recommended that you clean your cushions with upholstery cleaner or dry clean every nine to twelve months, this way your cushions can remain in good condition.
